Proposed Water Storage Tank & Pump Station Improvements Public Hearing

WHEREAS, the Town of Barre is proposing the construction of a 250,000 gallon elevated water storage tank and appurtenances near Pine Hill Road and Pask Road in the Town of Barre to address system deficiencies (the “Proposed Action”); and

WHEREAS, the Proposed Action includes all related site work, grading, driveways, and appurtenances and a new pump to be constructed next to the existing tank to transfer water and upgrades to the existing pump station and tank at an estimated maximum cost of $5,244,850; and

WHEREAS,  the Town Board of the Town of Barre classified the proposed action as a Type 1 action; and

NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Board of the Town of Barre hereby resolves to hold a public hearing on September 10, 2025, at 6:30 pm at Barre Town Hall for the Proposed Action.
